The Isle of Man
The Chorale will be touring the Isle of Man in late October giving three concerts (one for each leg). Details to follow.
The Peacemakers
The Chorale will be singing in Karl Jenkins' latest work in May as he conducts the UK Premiere tour of The Peacemakers in a concert also featuring his most popular and highly acclaimed compositions. More details here.
Pure Gold
The Chorale will also be taking part in New Music 20x12, performing 'Pure Gold: 4x4 Relay Race' by Luke Carver Goss with the Black Dyke Band. New Music 20x12 is a UK-wide commissioning programme consisting of twenty new pieces of music, each of 12 minutes in length, celebrating the talent and imagination of the UK’s musical community as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad. read more
The first performance was on Friday 27th January at the RNCM, - see here for a review. Coming up are performances on Sunday 12th February at Birmingham Symphony Hall, at 2 30pm, Sunday 13th May in the Bridgwater Hall at 8 00pm and Sunday 15th July in the London Southbank Centre. The premiere was recorded and is contracted to be broadcast by BBC Radio 3. You can read an interviw and see a video of the composer talking about the project on the PRS for Music website here. Please note that since the interview, The Chorale has replaced Halifax Choral Society.

New Concert details
The Chorale will be giving a Concert at St Michael's Church, Flixton on Saturday February 4th in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.
Interview with a Composer
Robin Stevens sings baritone in the Manchester Chorale, and he is also a composer. The Chorale is taking part in his annual charity concert at Emmanuel Church, Didsbury on 28th April 2012, so we thought we would ask him a few questions about his life as a composer.
