In 3^rd place is Guernsey-based Lydia Jane Pugh for her setting of “Your Words Give Light”, adapted from verses in Psalm 119.

Lydia is a young composer who has studied in both Liverpool and Leeds and already has this endorsement from Jeffrey Wynn-Davis, the founder of the Manchester Chorale:   

"A young composer of real talent, who has compositional skills in a variety of fields. In particular her ability to set her own texts intelligently and effectively marks her out as a choral writer of significant potential."
